law enforcement family network

For law enforcement families who want to feel less isolated and more prepared for navigating relationships and raising healthy, happy kids.

After every single one of my speaking engagements, I noticed a common theme.

At the end, only 1 or 2 people will raise their hand to share or ask questions, but once we wrap up, there is a line of people just like you ready and willing to share their experience and intimate stories.

🚓 About how they don't recognize their spouse any more, how they don't recognize themselves anymore.

🚓 They feel lost, alone. They don't know what to do or where to turn.

🚓 That their kids, or grandkids don't talk to them. That their relationship with our own parent is fractured.

🚓 About the regret they experience, the relationships they lost before they even realized it was happening.

_

Fear of judgement, worry of being singled out, desire of privacy are all common themes as to why they prefer to share with me one on one. Which, I totally get; but I need you to know that you all feel the same way. So many of you are experiencing the same uncertainty, isolation, and confusion. And, you are all feeling some shame or resistance when it comes to admitting it to your peers.

So what if we removed the judgement, the secrecy, the shame and you were able to see that you are not alone. You do not have to be isolated and you deserve both respect and support in your experience as a cop, or someone in a relationship with a cop.

In my DM’s, you’re telling me that your department doesn’t care.

That there are no wellness conferences in your area and you can’t afford (or spare the time off) to fly out to the big ones that happen across the country.

It is time to take these conversations beyond the uniform.

And beyond the conferences.

You do not have to suffer in silence holding in the things that keep you up at night and I can promise you that your story and perspective has so much to offer other LEO families.

THE BEYOND THE UNIFORM NETWORK HAS 2 OBJECTIVES

1 - To keep you connected to people just like you (especially when civilian families don’t always get it)

2 - To connect you, educate you and provide resources to help you on your journey of navigating raising your family

Each month we will a theme, and 2 calls:

➡️ One call will be an expert guest speaker to offer you tangible, tactical insights and guidance.

➡️ The second call will be a roundtable discussion chat about the theme, and share experiences.

The speaker call will always be recorded.

The discussion call for privacy reasons will not be.

Come as you are and when you can.

Here is how it works:

Get monthly trainings for $37 a month.

Enroll for a year for $370 total - and receive a free Law Enforcement Family Workbook

SCHEDULE:

Roundtable Discussion: Third Sunday of the month at 11am EST

Always come as you are, bring your spouse, bring your kids.

*The day before each call you will receive an email reminder, with the zoom link. I also suggest adding these to your calendar.

ABOUT KATHERINE

I’m Katherine Boyle, founder of Beyond the Uniform and an advocate for law enforcement kids and families.

As the daughter of a retired Philadelphia Police Lieutenant, I grew up experiencing the unique realities that come with the profession. While my family wasn't perfect, I look back on my childhood with a deep appreciation for the sense of stability, connection, and support my parents created despite the demands of the job.

Since 2020, I’ve dedicated my work to understanding and talking about the impact law enforcement has on the entire family, especially the children. Through speaking engagements, my podcast, conversations with experts, and countless discussions with officers, spouses, and adult children, I've seen firsthand how much families are navigating and how few spaces exist to have these conversations openly.

That's why I created the BTU Family Network: a place where law enforcement families can gain practical insights, learn from trusted experts, and engage in meaningful conversations about the realities of the lifestyle.

Because what happens at home matters. The relationships you build, the conversations you have, and the environment you create today will shape your family's future for years to come.
